Savigny-Les-Beaune White

Grape variety: Chardonnay

Vine age: 24 years old for one and 10 years for the second.

Production per year: 4500 bottles

Exposure, soil: vine located at the entry of the village, clayey limestone soil, white ground

Winemaking: handmade harvest in small crates. The grapes are sorted out in the Domaine then pressed out and put in vats. The juice is decanted after 24 hours then put in barrels for the alcoholic fermentation.

Wine ageing: 14 months in oak barrels (2 to 3 wine barrel)

Wine characteristics: yellow gold color, fruity wine with citrus overtones. Its attack and acidity make this wine straight and clear.

Aging capacity: to be kept from 5 to 7 years.
