Burgundy red

Grape variety: Pinot Noir

Vine age: 30 years old on average (gathering of 2 plots)

Production per year: 2700 bottles

Exposure, soil: Appellation based on 2 plots: the first one overlooking the village and a second one situated not far from the village of Aloxe Corton, clayey limestone soil.

Winemaking: handmade harvest in small crates. The grapes are sorted out in the Domaine, then 100% de-stemmed, no crushing and finally put in vats for the alcoholic fermentation. The fermentation in vats lasts about 25 days with 1 cap punching and 1 pumping-over per day. Then, the wine is put in oak barrels for 14 to 16 months in order to carry out the malolactic fermentation.

Wine ageing: 14 to 16 months in oak barrels (2 to 5 wine barrels)

Wine characteristics: ruby color, typical of Pinot Noir. Red fruit aroma. Fruity, elegant and balanced mouthfeel.

Aging capacity: to be kept 5 years.
